The Original Physician-Formulated Eyelash Conditioner

Patented science. Published safety. Drug-free since 2008.

MD Lash Factor® was developed by Dr. Susan Lin, M.D. as a medical-grade alternative to harsh chemical lash serums. Protected by US Patent 8,206,695, our clinical formula combines bio-active peptides and Thiotaine to nourish the lash follicle naturally — promoting the appearance of longer, fuller, thicker lashes through a published, peer-reviewed mechanism.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is MD Lash Factor® safe to use on sensitive eyes?
Yes. MD Lash Factor® has been independently evaluated by board-certified ophthalmologists under IRB clinical safety protocols, including assessment of the cornea, conjunctiva, meibomian glands, and intraocular pressure. The published peer-reviewed study in The Journal of Cosmetic and Laser Therapy (JCLT 2008, PMID 18569264) documented zero impact on visual acuity, IOP, or ocular irritation across the trial period. For full safety detail see our physician’s guide to safe lash serums.
What is the difference between MD Lash Factor and prostaglandin-only lash serums?
Many lash serums on the market use prostaglandin analogs (chemical drug derivatives originally developed for glaucoma) without published ocular safety data. MD Lash Factor® is physician-formulated with a dechloro ethylcloprostenolamide cosmetic active and clinically tested for ocular safety in published peer-reviewed research. It is the only lash conditioner in its class with documented IRB ophthalmologist evaluation. See our comparison guide for details.
How long until I see results from MD Lash Factor®?
The natural lash growth cycle is 60–90 days. Most users notice fuller-looking lashes within 4–6 weeks of nightly use, with maximum visible results around 12–16 weeks. Continued nightly application is recommended for maintenance. Stopping use returns lashes to their natural baseline over the next growth cycle. See how the lash growth cycle works.
Can I use MD Lash Factor® with contact lenses or eye makeup?
Yes. MD Lash Factor® is applied at the lash base before bed, after removing eye makeup. Contact lens wearers may resume normal lens use the following morning. The formula does not interfere with mascara, eyeliner, or contact lens wear. Routine clinical safety evaluation included contact lens users.
Does MD Lash Factor work on brows too?
MD Lash Factor® is formulated specifically for the eyelash follicle. For the eyebrow growth cycle, we recommend our dedicated MD® Brow Conditioning Serum which is formulated for the brow growth cycle and clinically tested separately. See our physician’s guide to brow thinning.
How does MD Lash Factor compare to GrandeLash or RevitaLash?
MD Lash Factor® is the only physician-invented eyelash conditioner in this category with a published peer-reviewed clinical safety study (JCLT 2008, PMID 18569264) AND patented (US 8,206,695) formulation. Competing products in the same chemical class either lack published peer-reviewed studies or carry FDA warning letters about undisclosed prostaglandin content. MD Lash Factor® is physician-formulated, ophthalmologist-tested, and transparently labeled.
